Research focus
Jonas Julius Rudbæk is currently a second-year PhD student at the National Center of Excellence for Molecular Prediction of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) - PREDICT at Aalborg University Copenhagen and the State Serum Institute, Denmark. Jonas has a background in molecular biomedicine, with a specific focus on Immunology and Microbiology. At PREDICT Jonas's work is focused on investigating inflammatory and immunological features in the preclinical phase of inflammatory bowel disease utilizing highly sensitive multiplex immunoassay platforms to measure antibodies and inflammatory proteins in biobanked neonatal dried blood spots, serum and plasma samples.
